Happy new year! It is a time for fresh starts and new beginnings. On that note, I’d like to challenge your 2014 to be a year where “Done is better than perfect”; where following through and finishing things are more important than sitting and waiting for the perfect star alignment. Now don’t misunderstand me, that doesn’t mean making nonsense!

Here at Jublia, we constantly strive for the highest quality of workmanship and our team has been endeavouring to solve the problem of scheduling quality meetings easily at events ever since we started. It has been a great 2013, very much with thanks to all our clients and partners for their constant support. We’re excited to start 2014 with a whole new vigour and bounce in our steps.

As the economies of the world progresses the global event industry changes with it. 2013 very clearly and soundly showed us that the future of events would entail a higher degree of importance placed on networking and meetings at events. Events have been looking to improve the networking of their delegates through premium business matching services. It is only a matter of time that these services become a basic requirement at events. Further intuitive foresight would reveal that analytics and business intelligence would be the glue to managing the different aspects of your event.

We know that. That is why we’re building the most flexible end-to-end networking solution that will fit perfectly into your unique networking needs. Yes, analytics and all. Here’s a little peak at what is to come for 2014:

Jublia Match© is the easiest real-time scheduling software to date and we are extremely proud of how it has grown to solve the real and pertinent problem of scheduling quality meetings easily at events. Based on feedback and meetings with our esteemed clients, Match© now operates an innovative automatic real-time scheduling system and we’re not stopping there! (check out our video in HD here)

Match© Engagement System is the newly updated personalised service included with Match©. It incorporates a complimentary SMS reminder that minimises no-shows at meetings and helps event organisers lessen their burden of converting sales teams into a business matching teams closer to the event date. What’s the use of a great software if you don’t know how to maximise its usage and benefit from it.

Jublia Sense© is the coolest project that the team is working on yet. Event organisers who engage Jublia to run Match© would have access to the new Jublia Sense© — an organiser centric dashboard that tracks the networking performance and networking potential of the event. Organisers can finally see how the networking at their events unfold!

Going back to my quote “Done is better than perfect”, here’s to all of us who are prone to endlessly tweaking our projects and never quite finishing them. Let the past remind us that perfection can be an enemy of progress. As Jublia strives to get more innovations done in 2014, we invite you to join us on this journey of doing!

Frequently Asked Questions
What does an event engagement platform actually do?
An event engagement platform takes static event data (agendas, exhibitors, attendees) and turns it into interactions that actually happen. It powers matchmaking, agenda discovery, in-app messaging, and interactive maps from a single backbone, so the experience feels coherent rather than ten disconnected tools stitched together.
How can organizers automate attendee communications and structured networking?
Attendee communications and meeting management both run on the same fuel: behavioral data and the ability to act on it. Organizers need a CRM that tracks what attendees do, a campaign tool that triggers messages based on those actions, and a meeting manager that handles 1-on-1 and group sessions cleanly. Jublia AI bundles this through Attendee CRM, Campaign Courier, and Meeting Manager.
How should organizers evaluate event engagement technology for their event?
Every event has different scale, audience, and engagement goals, so off-the-shelf packages rarely fit. Organizers should evaluate platforms on three things: how the tech maps to their specific attendee journey, what setup support is included, and whether pricing scales with their event size. The right partner makes this scoping conversation early, before committing.
