Following multi-years of collaboration, Global Event Partners (GEP) and Jublia embarked on 2025 with ambitions in mind to up the game by executing a series of business-focused conferences across different continents while delivering a seamless and personalized experience for attendees. These events were geographically spread out, but aligned under one strategic vision: to foster industry connection and surface meaningful content for professionals.
The series kicked off with the 2nd International Business Conference (February 4-6) in Suriname, followed closely by Sub Saharan Africa International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (SAIPEC, February 11-13) in Nigeria, and the Naturgas Congress (April 9-11) in Colombia — with more to come for the rest of the year. While each event had its own regional focus and audience, GEP wanted them to feel unified — as part of a larger, purposeful initiative.
But this vision came with a challenge. How could we deliver consistent value across all these events while making each one feel customized and locally relevant?
With only a few weeks between each event, the GEP and Jublia team were racing against the clock. Customizing a new digital experience for every conference would be resource-intensive, especially with lean timelines and relatively small internal team.
Beyond logistics, GEP was also looking to elevate the quality of engagement at each event. It wasn’t just about hosting a conference. They wanted to connect attendees not only to each other through business meetings, but also to rich content: speaker sessions, agenda, and industry updates that added value beyond networking.
Each region has its own context, goals, and attendee behavior. Some events needed full matchmaking functionality, while others only required agenda and chat features. Balancing consistency with flexibility was crucial, and time was not on the organizer’s side.
However, rather than viewing these challenges as obstacles, both teams embraced them as real-world operational truths. The collaboration was structured around adaptability, clear communication, and a willingness to iterate based on what worked and what didn’t.
One of the most significant points in this long-term collaboration came with the deployment of Jublia’s Multi-Event App — a single mobile app platform capable of hosting multiple events under one umbrella.
Under the umbrella branding of “Global Energies,” GEP could present their events as part of a coherent ecosystem. However, each event still retained its own distinct visual identity: compete with custom branding, color palettes, content modules, and even networking rules.
Whether it was a high-level leadership conference in Suriname or a regional energy congress in Nigeria, each event felt bespoke. Yet for returning attendees, the user interface and navigation remained familiar, helping drive app adoption and comfort.
Attendees were able to access all events within a single app, whether they had attended a previous event or were exploring future ones. This created a cumulative digital footprint for GEP, enabling cross-promotion between regions and allowing attendees to discover events they might not have otherwise considered. Consistent app adoption—ranging between 60% to 70% across events—further reinforced this ecosystem, ensuring engagement and continuity throughout the attendee journey.
The ability to navigate across the events gave users a sense of continuity and gave GEP the power to tell a broader story across markets.
Another advantage of the Multi-Event App was how flexibly GEP could tailor attendee experiences. Some events enabled “chat only” networking for a lighter engagement format, while others incorporated full B2B meeting setups, allowing structures, pre-scheduled onsite interactions.
In addition, the Agenda module emerged as a top-performing feature across all events. By placing content front and center, GEP was able to boost session participation and make the most of its carefully curated speaker lineups.
For the GEP team, the app’s template-based setup meant they didn't have to start from zero every time. Over time, they became more independent in configuring and launching their events on the platform — though Jublia Customer Success team remained actively involved, especially during onboarding and live support phases.
This combination of autonomy and guidance created a productive working rhythm between both teams.
The outcomes of this approach speak volumes.
At one event alone — Suriname’s 2nd International Business Conference, over 300 B2B meetings were successfully scheduled and executed — an impressive figure given the short ramp-up time. Across all three events, the agenda module recorded consistently high engagement, reinforcing the value of content-first digital experiences.
Feedback from attendees reflected high levels of satisfaction with the app interface and usability. Across events, GEP maintained a high average CSAT score of 4.4 and an impressive NPS of around 80%, indicating strong attendee approval and likelihood to recommend. And beyond the numbers, GEP was able to strengthen its brand presence under the “Global Energies” identity—becoming recognizable not just for the quality of their conferences, but also for their seamless digital delivery.
This success didn’t happen overnight. GEP and Jublia have been working together for over five years, continuously evolving our partnership. What began as a standard tech collaboration has grown into a strategic relationship, where both parties bring ideas to the table and iterate on them together.
Through consistent education, advisory, and experimentation, Jublia has helped GEP unlock the full potential of their event platform, while GEP has shown a remarkable appetite for innovation, testing new formats, and sharing feedback that shapes future solutions.
GEP Events showcased how Jublia’s Engagement Hub (especially the Multi-Event App) can effectively host multiple events on a single platform, maintaining consistency while allowing each event’s brand to shine.
