Jublia is again sponsoring the upcoming PyCon in the APAC region, continuing to do our humble part for the Python language community. Python is the core language of our data analytics dashboard providing high-performance, easy-to-use data structures and open source data analysis libraries for commonly used functionalities.

Chinab Chugh, CTO of Jublia, speaking at PyCon Singapore 2016

Our CTO will also be taking the stage on Friday, 1st June at 10:45am, speaking on the topic of :

A scalable blueprint for product customization with Python 3

Your user’s needs evolve constantly, and the best service solution is one that will account for their needs today and give you the agility to rapidly adjust in the future. The ability to seamlessly customize — connecting apps, systems, and business processes to your digital core — will give you the flexibility that is essential in today’s enterprise marketplace. Having a framework will also give your developers the ability to quickly and easily extend new features to your core.

This talk is on how to tailor your SaaS application to your client’s needs. We will start by going through the how and why of migrating our core application from a legacy PHP code base to Python 3.6. The key emphasis will be on the structure we have created on top of Flask powered by a custom router which allows us to serve our core engine as well as the customisations to our select-few clients. The design considerations which went into this structure were to isolate our customisations from our core application while still allowing us to use those features. The structure allows us to build rapidly and fix bugs without needing to deploy to multiple apps. We will then zoom out to talk about the ease of deployment of the structure, by showing how it ties together into a CI system.

Our CTO also previously spoke at PyCon Singapore 2016. If you are interested in the full talk, view more here.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does an event engagement platform actually do?
An event engagement platform takes static event data (agendas, exhibitors, attendees) and turns it into interactions that actually happen. It powers matchmaking, agenda discovery, in-app messaging, and interactive maps from a single backbone, so the experience feels coherent rather than ten disconnected tools stitched together.
How can organizers automate attendee communications and structured networking?
Attendee communications and meeting management both run on the same fuel: behavioral data and the ability to act on it. Organizers need a CRM that tracks what attendees do, a campaign tool that triggers messages based on those actions, and a meeting manager that handles 1-on-1 and group sessions cleanly. Jublia AI bundles this through Attendee CRM, Campaign Courier, and Meeting Manager.
How should organizers evaluate event engagement technology for their event?
Every event has different scale, audience, and engagement goals, so off-the-shelf packages rarely fit. Organizers should evaluate platforms on three things: how the tech maps to their specific attendee journey, what setup support is included, and whether pricing scales with their event size. The right partner makes this scoping conversation early, before committing.
