Ever since our 2013 trip to Beijing for CIBTM, Jublia has been looking out for opportunities to visit and work with events in China. It is with great privilege and joy that we were invited by Reed Exhibition (RX) to give a talk on data analytics at their Annual RX Asia-Pacific Regional Sales and Marketing Academy in Shanghai, just two weeks ago. We had a blast with the dynamic RX team and learnt a lot from them. This has been an experience that we are very thankful for and we look forward to more collaborations and projects with Reed Exhibition. I’ve uploaded our slides here for anyone’s perusal. If you wish to find out more about how we do data analytic for events do drop us an email at info@jublia.com. We’ll be happy to speak to you!

Now the event that we were invited to speak at was only for 2 days, to make the most of this opportunity we decided to lengthen our trip. We stayed for a week in Shanghai and met up with at least three different event organisers a day! It was an extremely insightful and fulfilling trip. One of the biggest take aways was finding out just how different the Chinese market was from any other market. Challenge accepted! Game on. At this juncture I’d like to extend my gratitude to everyone who took time off to meet with us. Also, we will be working with Chinese events happening in Beijing and Shanghai respectively in the coming month. The team is really excited for this development! Do stay tune with us via our website and blog for an update on our latest happenings.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does an event engagement platform actually do?
An event engagement platform takes static event data (agendas, exhibitors, attendees) and turns it into interactions that actually happen. It powers matchmaking, agenda discovery, in-app messaging, and interactive maps from a single backbone, so the experience feels coherent rather than ten disconnected tools stitched together.
How can organizers automate attendee communications and structured networking?
Attendee communications and meeting management both run on the same fuel: behavioral data and the ability to act on it. Organizers need a CRM that tracks what attendees do, a campaign tool that triggers messages based on those actions, and a meeting manager that handles 1-on-1 and group sessions cleanly. Jublia AI bundles this through Attendee CRM, Campaign Courier, and Meeting Manager.
How should organizers evaluate event engagement technology for their event?
Every event has different scale, audience, and engagement goals, so off-the-shelf packages rarely fit. Organizers should evaluate platforms on three things: how the tech maps to their specific attendee journey, what setup support is included, and whether pricing scales with their event size. The right partner makes this scoping conversation early, before committing.
