The Singapore Mice Forum, organised by SACEOS, was into its 4th edition just last week. It is a powerful platform for the MICE industry where key issues were discussed and ideas exchanged, maximising innovation and networking within the industry. Jublia was honored to have been invited to speak as one of the panelists at SMF 2014. The panel discussions that were carried included topics on talent development, advances in technology and mergers and acquisitions.

Chinab Chugh, our co-founder and CTO, shared his perspectives on technology along with other panelists such as Richard Canneman from Canneman/Cormont and Benjamin from Turningpoint Solutions. They shared interesting insights on how innovation in technology can shape the way event organisers communicate with delegates, some global trends, thoughts on technologies that can determine ROI and how best to shape delegate experience.

The forum experience itself was pleasant, with many warm MICE professionals who were passionately sharing their experiences with us and also those from other industries such as lawyers and professors who embraced the exposure that SMF presented to them. Of course, we were more than happy to converse with them and also enjoyed sharing our unique solution to many professional conference and exhibition organisers!

The MICE Forum played an important role in contributing impressive insights and solutions to enhance and invigorate the MICE industry and we were glad to be a part of this success!

Frequently Asked Questions
What does an event engagement platform actually do?
An event engagement platform takes static event data (agendas, exhibitors, attendees) and turns it into interactions that actually happen. It powers matchmaking, agenda discovery, in-app messaging, and interactive maps from a single backbone, so the experience feels coherent rather than ten disconnected tools stitched together.
How can organizers automate attendee communications and structured networking?
Attendee communications and meeting management both run on the same fuel: behavioral data and the ability to act on it. Organizers need a CRM that tracks what attendees do, a campaign tool that triggers messages based on those actions, and a meeting manager that handles 1-on-1 and group sessions cleanly. Jublia AI bundles this through Attendee CRM, Campaign Courier, and Meeting Manager.
How should organizers evaluate event engagement technology for their event?
Every event has different scale, audience, and engagement goals, so off-the-shelf packages rarely fit. Organizers should evaluate platforms on three things: how the tech maps to their specific attendee journey, what setup support is included, and whether pricing scales with their event size. The right partner makes this scoping conversation early, before committing.
