Last July, Kuala Lumpur became the center of global healthcare innovation with the launch of International Healthcare Week (IHW) 2025. In its first edition, five flagship trade shows — CPHI South East Asia, WHX Kuala Lumpur, WHX Labs Kuala Lumpur, Medtec Southeast Asia, and HIMSS APAC — were brought together under one roof at MITEC. The result was a mega-event that hosted more than 900 exhibitors, 15,000+ products and services, and nearly 21,000 professionals from over 50 countries.

For Informa Markets as the organizer of this event, the stakes were high. Beyond simply managing scale, they wanted to create connected experience — managing cross events meetings, lead generation, session discovery across all events and specialised lounge management by brand.. It was also the first time rolling out Jublia’s Native App and Lead Scanner, alongside the full suite engagement solutions.

Turning Complexity into Clarity

Coordinating five co-located events meant managing multiple meeting venues and unique exhibitor needs. These moving parts could have easily become overwhelming, but instead, they turned into an opportunity to reimagine how digital tools could support scale.

Working closely with the organizers, Jublia implemented 360° Engagement, AI Maps, Ask Judy AI, Web and Native App, while tailoring specific features such as:

  • Dedicated meeting lounges for CPHI and WHX.

By unifying the experience across pre-event networking, onsite interactions, and post-event insights, this event helped attendees and exhibitors get the most out of their participation. The organizer could now track the entire journey — from meetings scheduled to fulfillment, lead scans, and app engagement.

Turning Engagement into Measurable Results

The outcomes of IHW 2025 went beyond scale — they demonstrated how purposeful technology directly drives value for organizers, exhibitors, and attendees alike.

Across three days, the event recorded over 2,500 lead scans, ensuring exhibitors captured tangible business opportunities. Attendees actively engaged with the digital platforms, opening the Native App an average of 8.3 times per download, a clear sign of its usefulness in navigating the event.

Meanwhile, more than half of all pre-scheduled meetings were successfully fulfilled, directly translating into ROI for participating companies. Combined with an integrated experience across Web and Native App, the event delivered a professional and unified digital journey.

The impact was also felt in attendee sentiment — with 81% reporting positive experiences, the event confirmed that seamless engagement and strong connections remain at the heart of successful industry gatherings.

Compared to the previous edition, IHW 2025 achieved significant growth across nearly all performance metrics—most notably a 47% increase in total meetings. This reinforced the success of the expanded format and digital engagement strategy.
